Barrier-free environment

As part of the subprogram "Accessible living environment for people with disabilities and physical disabilities," a number of projects have been completed at the Kolos Children's and Youth Center to create a barrier-free living environment for physically disabled people

Activities carried out outside buildings

The entrances to the sanatorium are equipped with ramps and staff call buttons

along walking paths - lowering of curbstones

On the territory of the center (in the general parking lot) there is a designated parking place for disabled vehicles (a special sign has been installed)

Tactile paving slabs for the blind and visually impaired have been installed along the route through the center's territory, as well as at the entrances to buildings

At the entrance to the center's territory, a mnemonic diagram of the territory in Braille is installed

External entrances to buildings and entrances to restrooms (adapted to the capabilities of physically impaired persons) are equipped with voice informants

The facility has three rooms for the rehabilitation of wheelchair users and their accompanying persons

The bathrooms in the living rooms are equipped with handrails and chairs for performing hygiene procedures

The medical buildings have bathrooms and showers for disabled people with special handrails

The center's buildings are equipped with tactile floor signs, contrasting door markings, as well as signs and mnemonic diagrams in Braille
